The marathon event was organized by school with the support of athletic association on 20th March 2022. There were more than 75 school children participated for the boys & girls  two separated races.

The race started around 6.15a.m. with the starting mark hosted by principle madam routed along Ambalangoda Batapola road till thilakapura & return to the school Square. The first second third places of the boys event secured by Parakrama, Asoka & Vijaya houses &  48 completed the race. Parakrama, Gamunu, & Vijaya houses secured first three places in girls event. The marathon race organized after two consecutive years due to the pandemic as initial event of the school annual athletic games.
